Habits

Bad habits can be formed from as early as childhood, and can be from an addictive personality, repetition of a behavior, or just from being lazy. Often they come from ”modeling” someone in our family who had the same bad habit. What may have been acceptable when we were kids, can be a bad habit as an adult.

The definition of a bad habit is: Some thing we do or don’t do that hurts us either physically, emotionally or mentally (gives us low self worth or low esteem).

Often times through hypnosis, bad habits can be replaced with good ones.

Types of habits successfully treated with hypnosis:

Bad eating habits can make you fat and unhealthy. Through hypnosis you can alter the desire for those fatty, sugary foods and accept a new lifestyle and better choices.

Nail Biting is an ugly habit as it makes your hands look horrible. Bleeding and torn cuticles can make socialization difficult and embarrassing. Hypnosis effectively eliminates the desire to bite or pick.

Hair pulling includes head hair, facial hair and eyelashes. Any kind of picking fits into this category. It can cause embarrassment and disfigurement. Through hypnosis the desire to pull or pick goes away and since it is stress related you learn new stress reduction tools which work well.

Teeth grinding creates jaw pain and often is done subconsciously at night while sleeping, although it also happens while deep into concentration. It makes sense to go to the subconscious mind to eliminate this habit.

Procrastination is a bad habit. It is an avoidance behavior that causes low self esteem and becomes a habit after many years. Procrastination responds really well to post hypnotic suggestions. Once the behavior is altered your self confidence and pride.
