Laurie's Notes

Dear Clients,

As once again we begin the journey into the holiday season, I am sharing some of my personal beliefs regarding living more authentically. It comes down to being respectful and true to yourself .

One way to be authentic to yourself is to let go of what you can’t control. Once you accomplish letting go, the rewards are great.

We are in charge of our own life successes. We must take control over our choices, decisions, actions, words and beliefs.

Letting go and taking control. That is such an interesting concept. I hope you enjoy the newsletter.

I SINCERELY WISH YOU AND YOUR FAMILY HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

LETTING GO

The following suggestions may apply to letting go of a situation, a family member or friend, a burden of sorrow, or learning to live with a heartache.

Read this over, then close your eyes.

Take a deep breath and relax. Imagine yourself letting go of a person, issue or event.

Take several minutes while you continue to breathe slowly.

You may find that letting go of what you are holding onto will release a peace within you which allows your spirit to soar and an experience of true freedom!

TO LET GO means I can’t do it for someone else.

TO LET GO is the realization that I can’t control another.

TO LET GO is to know that I can only change myself.

TO LET GO is to let others arrange their outcomes.

TO LET GO is to permit another to face reality.

TO LET GO is to accept yourself and others.

TO LET GO is to change denial into acceptance.

TO LET GO is to search out my own shortcomings and then correct them.

TO LET GO is to take each day as it comes and cherish the moment.

TO LET GO is to become what I dream I can be.

TO LET GO is to let the past remain in the past and to grow and live for the future.

TO LET GO is to fear less and love more.

THREE THINGS YOU MUST DO FOR A SUCCESSFUL LIFE

BE NICE
BE NICE
BE NICE

Sound overly simple?
Let’s examine:

Be NICE to yourself.
STOP criticizing, take care of your body and do things that make you feel good!
Be NICE to others.
STOP judging and forgive others. Find positive traits in others and compliment them.
Be NICE to your environment.
STOP taking things for granted. Take better care of your family, plants animals and belongings. Have gratitude for the blessings in your life.
